1st day: Sagrada Família - Passeig de Gràcia - Ramblas - Gothic Quarter
1) Take the metro on line 2 or 5 and exit at
"Sagrada Familia" stop. Visit the interior of the Basilica andclimb to its towers, where you can have a breathtaking view of the city of
Barcelona [~ 1h - 1h30].
2) Return to the metro station "Sagrada
Familia" and take the metro, line 5. Get off at "Diagonal"
station and walk Passeig de Gràcia, where you can see La Pedrera(Casa Milà), Casa Batló, Casa Amatller and Casa Lleó Morera, to Plaça de
Catalunya [~ 20 min.].
3) Cross the square. At your left you will have the the
Hard Rock Café and in front of you, you will see the beginning of the Ramblas.
Go through the Ramblas until you find La Boquería Market, visit this
19th century market that will make your mouth water [~ 30 min - 45 m].

Hunger steals the memory … so, where can I
eat?
You
can enjoy a lunch in the La Boquería Market or in Plaça Reial
(next to the Rambla Pharmacy, on the left side of the Ramblas, turn into Carrer
de Colom and you will arrive at Plaça Reial).

4) Tour the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. You can
see a detailed itinerary HERE [~
2h-3h]. Do not miss the chance to taste the chocolates of the famous 18th
century chocolatiers: La Pallaresa (number 11) and Dulcinea (number 2) in
Carrer Petritxol!
5) The itinerary is a circular circuit, so at the end you
will return to the Ramblas. Walk down the pedestrian street and at its end you
will find the Columbus Statue [~ 15 min]. Go up to its belvedere and
enjoy another fantastic view of the city! [~ 20 min]

Next
to the Colombo Statue, take the metro at "Drassanes" station (at the
intersection of the Drassanes Avenue and Carrer del Portal de Santa Madrona),
line 3, and exit at "Paral-lel" station. Cross the Av. Del Paral·lel
and in the Carrer Nou de la Rambla you can find several restaurants.
2nd day: Park Güell- Port Olímpic - Parc de la Ciutadella
1) Start the day at Park Güell, a park full of details
and curiosities. You can see how to get there HERE. [~ 2h, depending on the type of transport that you choose].
2) At the end of the visit, you can take bus 92 towards
Passeig Marítim or return to metro station "Vallcarca" (line 3), take
the metro to "Passeig de Gràcia" and change to line 4, then step out
at "Ciutadella / Vila Olímpica" station.

Lunch time!

you now have the opportunity to try El Tinglado (15% discount), Marina Bay by
Moncho's (15%), Tapas Locas (20%) or The Chipirón (15%).

3) You can take a stroll along the seafront, go to La Barceloneta beach and visit Ciutadella Park (~ 1h).
